The Lubbock ISD Council of PTAs announced the PTA scholarship student winners at the spring awards luncheon on May 10. Each scholarship recipient plans to enter the teaching profession and received $1,000 to put toward their education. End-of-Year awards were also given. Click here to read more in the E-Reporter.

Lubbock ISD presents the Summer Reading Challenge for all students, faculty and staff. This challenge is meant to encourage and motivate students and adults to read for pleasure throughout the summer months. GOAL 1:   75% of Hodges Elementary students will be proficient in Math at their grade level by the end of the 2011-2012 school year.

GOAL 2:  75% of Hodges Elementary students will be proficient in ELAR at their grade level by the end of the 2011-2012 school year. 

GOAL 3:  Tier 1 instruction will be intensified so that the commended performance rate will increase by 10% in all tested areas by the end of the 2011-2012 school year.
